About Motherlode:

Miami-based designer Sydney Good founded Motherlode in 2026 out of a love for vintage fashion, beautiful fabrics, and pieces that feel a little harder to find. Motherlode began with a simple idea: to create clothing that feels special again. Inspired by vintage resortwear and the individuality of getting dressed for yourself, each piece is designed to feel feminine, effortless, and unlike something you would find everywhere else. The first Motherlode collection is made from sustainably sourced silk chiffon and centers around the brand’s signature poncho and matching silk head scarf. Each garment is handmade by Sydney in Miami and produced slowly in limited quantities. Motherlode works on a drop model rather than traditional seasonal collections. This allows each release to stay intentional: fewer pieces, thoughtfully sourced fabrics, careful details, and less unnecessary excess. Because many of the fabrics are sourced in limited quantities, some pieces may only exist in a small number before they’re gone.
